Multibeam Bathymetry

We have a history of producing high-quality bathymetric surveys using our PicoMB-130-Surf multibeam system, now deployed across our fleet of vessels. This compact and power-efficient system has proven ideal for shallow water and nearshore environments—particularly in locations where traditional multibeam setups are too large, expensive, or slow to mobilise. Our custom transom-mounted configuration allows for rapid deployment, delivering detailed bathymetric and backscatter data with minimal setup time. The performance and flexibility of this system have exceeded expectations, enabling us to support a growing range of complex survey operations.

Single Beam Bathymetry

We have built a strong track record delivering reliable single beam surveys using our Echologger EU D032 systems, transom-mounted across multiple vessels in our fleet. Compact, lightweight, and quick to deploy, these systems are ideally suited for shallow water work, infill surveys, and supporting multibeam operations. Operating at both 30 kHz and 200 kHz, they provide dependable real-time depth measurements across a range of environments, including turbid or acoustically challenging waters. The dual-frequency capability enables improved bottom detection at greater depths while maintaining high-resolution performance in the shallows.
Whether for targeted depth measurements or supplementary data alongside multibeam coverage, our SBES setup offers a straightforward, dependable solution for rapid-response and small-scale projects.

Side-Scan Sonar

Binding Marine operates both transom-mounted and tow-fish side-scan sonar systems to capture detailed seafloor imagery. This allows us to detect underwater objects, map seabed textures, and identify features like debris, wrecks, and habitats.
Our side-scan sonar surveys support marine archaeology, environmental assessments, and infrastructure inspections. All data is processed and interpreted in-house to deliver accurate, reliable results tailored to your project needs.
