BayWei M7

Multibeam Echosounder

All our vessels can be equipped with the Baywei M7 Integrated Multibeam Sonar, a compact, high resolution multibeam echo sounder designed for fast mobilisation and accurate hydrographic data acquisition. Its lightweight, hydrodynamic design and low power consumption make it well suited to small survey vessels, shallow water operations, harbours, construction sites, dredging support and coastal surveys. Featuring a tightly coupled GNSS/INS system, up to 130° swath coverage and 512 receive beams, the Baywei M7 delivers detailed bathymetry and side scan data. The system is operated through the BayWei GUI and integrated into our established BeamworX processing workflow, allowing efficient data acquisition, cleaning, gridding and reporting. To support rapid mobilisation, our qualified engineer designed and manufactured a custom frame and mounting system in our in house workshop. This allows the equipment to be configured accurately, deconfigured quickly, and transported safely between survey sites.

PicoMB-130-Surf

All our vessels can be equipped with the PicoMB-130-Surf, a compact integrated multibeam echosounder designed for ultra high resolution hydrographic surveys from small survey craft. Its compact size, low weight and efficient power use make it well suited to rapid deployment, shallow water operations and sites where access or mobilisation time is limited. The system is operated through BeamworX for both data acquisition and processing, allowing an efficient and consistent workflow from survey setup through to cleaning, gridding and final deliverables. The MBES head was custom designed to suit our portable survey configuration and integrates with our stern mounted pole system, which was designed in house to allow accurate setup, quick deconfiguration, safe transport and flexible mobilisation across different survey sites. The PicoMB-130-Surf delivers high resolution bathymetry and backscatter data, even in shallow and challenging environments.

Echologger EU D032

Singlebeam Echosounder

All our vessels can be equipped with Echologger EU D032 Single Beam Echosounders, with two units transom-mounted for rapid mobilisation and reliable performance. Compact and lightweight, the EU D032 is ideal for shallow water surveys, providing accurate depth soundings in real time. With a 30° beam angle and operating frequency of 200 kHz, it’s a versatile and efficient tool for inshore bathymetric work, spot checks, and supporting multibeam operations.

Imagenex SportScan

Side-Scan Sonar

Our Humber and Ribcraft vessels can be equipped with the Imagenex SportScan Side-Scan Sonar, a compact, dual-frequency system designed for detailed seabed imaging. Lightweight and portable, the SportScan is ideal for rapid deployment during environmental surveys, archaeological inspections, and search & recovery operations. With operating frequencies of 330 kHz or 330/800 kHz and a total swath coverage of up to 240 metres, it delivers high-resolution imagery in real time. Housed in a rugged, anodised aluminium body and supplied with a 60 m tow cable, the SportScan is a dependable solution for shallow water and nearshore sonar imaging.
